| 反反复复 (fǎn fǎn fù fù) “over and over again” As with other words that reduplicate in the AABB pattern, the meaning of the original AB word, 反复(fǎn fù) in this case, is emphasized in the doubled form. Every Mandarin Chinese learner should be able to appreciate the meaning here, since study of grammar and vocabulary requires review many times over, or 反反复复 (fǎn fǎn fù fù).  磨磨蹭蹭 [mó mó cèng cèng] “to dawdle, dillydally” 磨蹭 (mó cèng) means to move slowly or to waste time. Often parents say it to their kids during a rush out of the house: 别磨磨蹭蹭了 (bié mó mó cèng cèng le) = Stop dawdling!
