After renting a home, besides rent, you may also need to pay utility bills. “水电”主要指水和电，“水电费”就是水和电产生的费用。 “Shuǐdiàn” zhǔyào zhǐ shuǐ hé diàn, “shuǐdiànfèi” jiù shì shuǐ hé diàn chǎnshēng de fèiyòng. “水电” mainly refers to water and electricity, while “水电费” means the charges for them.  例如： Lìrú: For example: 这个月水电费一共五百。 Zhège yuè shuǐdiànfèi yígòng wǔbǎi. How much are the utilities this month? 如果费用比较高，可以说： Rúguǒ fèiyòng bǐjiào gāo, kěyǐ shuō: If the bill is quite high, you can say: 怎么这么贵？ Zěnme zhème guì? Why is it so expensive? 租房时，要注意房租和水电费是不是分开计算。 Zū fáng shí, yào zhùyì fángzū hé shuǐdiànfèi shì bú shì fēnkāi jìsuàn.
