| The days are getting longer and hotter and soon a lot of people will take days off for a summer vacation. But how do you talk about your summer vacation in Chinese with your friends? How will you spend your summer vacation?  Summer vacation in Chinese is 暑假 (shǔ jià). 暑 means “heat, hot weather” and 假 means “holiday, vacation”.
